As the founder of Kazooticals, Mary Guarino has been a passionate dog owner for over 30 years. When her beloved 5 year sheltie, Kazoo, was diagnosed with Cancer, Mary was determined to provide him with the best possible treatment. Chemotherapy was the only option available, but it would compromise his quality of life. That is when Mary did extensive research in dog nutrition and alternative treatments. Although there were a lot of claims of treatments, none were effective.

It took the life-threatening illness of a beloved pet for me to realize what my true passion was in life - to help dogs enjoy the quality of life they deserve. They are only on this earth for a short time, so while they are with us, I want them to live as long as possible without pain and suffering. I believe in natural alternatives, not only for myself, but for all dogs.

After Kazoo died, my nine year old sheltie started showing signs of joint pain. I had him tested but arthritis could not be diagnosed at this stage. Thus the quest began. Rather than wait until he was in severe pain, I began working in collaboration with veterinarians and chemists and created Kazooticals Natural Joint Formula, not only for my own dog, but for all dogs suffering from joint pain. He is now more active and is enjoying the quality of life he deserves.

Sadly Kazoo died at home 6 months later, My memories of Kazoo are happy ones and he will always be remembered. That is why my company incorporates his name, Kazooticals.
