About Helping Homeless Pets:
Helping Homeless Pets is a non-profit organization that was created in November 2006 as a service to help pets that need new homes. We do this by directly supporting Pet Rescue Groups with desperately needed funds. Rescue organizations help alleviate the immense strain on the shelters by taking in animals who require special attention, animals who do not adjust well to shelter conditions, or directly accepting animals from owner surrender. Our mission is to support legitimate Pet Rescue Organizations by assisting them with fund raising for costly medical expenses.
Available pets can be viewed on our website and are currently being housed and cared for by a rescue organization under our umbrella; they are available for adoption through those organizations. We believe every pet deserves a loving home. With the help of volunteers and the generosity of donors we strive to make this philosophy a reality for homeless animals.
