SLOBBERFEST - July 7, 2007 @ The Beach

There is another great dog event coming up this saturday, July 7, 2007 at The Beach in Toronto, the second annual Slobberfest. TorontoBarks.com will be an exhibitor at the event (there will be around 60 exhibitors).

This is a great community event at a great location. We hope to see you there!

The event is presented by Community 55 and will be located at Woodbine Park (NE corner of Coxwell & Lakeshore Ave. E) . The event runs from 11:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. and admission is free.
Here is some more info about the event:

The event will see dogs of every size colour and description showing off while their owners shop and network, There’ll be a series of participation contests for your dog Slobber King & Queen, Canine Diva Award, Best Canine Trick, Best Canine Howl, Longest Tail…not mention the coveted Dog Most Like Its Owner award. The Who’s Walking Who Woof Jocks - the Canine performance troupe - will perform. There’ll be workshops on Cooling down Pets, by Carl Milton of A Touch Love Inc., while pet wellness expert, Hillar Sorra, will speak on health and exercise. And a professional veterinarian will be on hand for the popular Ask A Vet feature. Live Entertainment with “Sons of Beaches.”

Community Centre 55 is a City of Toronto Agency offering a wide range of community services including Seniors Fitness Classes, Children’s Licensed Programmes, Book Club, Teen Drop In, Summer Camp. Golf Tournament, Harvest Festival, and Slobberfest. It’s located at the historical property on 97 Main Street.

Bring your dog, and children to Slobberfest on Saturday, July 7 at Woodbine Park
(NE corner of Coxwell & Lakeshore). Slobberfest is free to the public, and is accessible by TTC. Slobberfest hours are 11:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
