On Thursday, September 18, PawsWay will kick off the first seminar in a Pet Nutrition Lecture Series with Nestlé Purina pet nutrition expert Stephanie Newman. The Pet Nutrition Lecture Series will run on select Thursdays throughout September and October.
Each hour-long seminar in the series will be an interactive and engaging opportunity for pet owners to learn how to be savvy pet food consumers and avoid common myths. Topics of discussion will include reading between the lines when reviewing pet food labels to understand the product quality, understanding pet food ingredients, and choosing the appropriate diet for pets, the owner’s lifestyle and budget.
Stephanie Newman’s candid and approachable style has made her a much appreciated voice in pet nutrition across Canada. She currently speaks at pet conventions and shows, gives lectures to students at veterinary schools and in animal health technician programs across Canada. Newman’s articles on pet nutrition are featured in The Daily Protector, an informative pet newsletter, and her own column on MSN Sympatico covers common pet nutrition related topics.
Time: Seminars will take place on select Thursday’s from 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm. Pet owners are invited to join Stephanie before the seminars begin, at 2:00 pm, for individual consultations.
