Helping Homeless Pets at the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair

Posted by Lowell Brown on November 7th 2008 Categorized under Shows & Events

(Toronto, ON – November 4, 2008): Helping Homeless Pets is proud to announce that once again, they will be taking part in the Royal Winter Fair as an exhibitor. Come out to the Fair, meet the volunteers, some amazing dogs they have rescued, and learn something new about your favourite four-legged family member!

Details:  Helping Homeless Pets in association with their allied rescue groups will be offering child-focused educational presentations in the Tim Horton’s Ag-tivity Centre located in the Direct Energy Centre on the Exhibition Place Grounds. Young visitors and their families are invited to view demonstrations on pet respect and safety at the Ag-tivity Centre.  In addition, everyone is invited to drop by the Helping Homeless Pets booth located just outside the Superdog Theatre at the fair. Stop by to support a good cause, and to learn invaluable information about caring for the family pet. Helping Homeless Pets is also dedicated to educating the public on the many ways they can help homeless pets.

About Helping Homeless Pets:
Helping Homeless Pets is a non-profit organization that was created in November 2006 as a service to help pets that need new homes. We do this by directly supporting Pet Rescue Groups with desperately needed funds. Our mission is to support legitimate Pet Rescue Organizations by assisting them with certain services, such as paying for costly medical expenses, thereby allowing them to focus on the care and finding of a suitable home for the pets they have rescued. Available pets can be viewed on our website and are currently being housed and cared for by a rescue organization under our umbrella; they are available for adoption through those organizations. We believe every pet deserves a loving home. With the help of volunteers and the generosity of donors we strive to make this philosophy a reality for homeless animals.

Helping Homeless Pets and our member rescues gratefully thank you for your assistance and support.
