Complete Rules:

1. Contest Organizer:

Lowell Brown, doing business as Insight Design & Communications and owner of the website TorontoBarks.com, is the “Contest Organizer.”

2. How To Enter:

No purchase, expenditure or investment is necessary to enter this contest.

After becoming a member to the website www.TorontoBarks.com, you are able to begin to earn ballots from 6am EDT May 1, 2008 through to 11:59 pm EDT July 31, 2008 (“the contest period”). There are two ways to earn ballots:

a. Submit a vote for your favorite pet product providers or pet service providers in the City of Toronto. With each complete vote submitted on TorontoBarks.com during the contest period, one ballot will be earned. A complete ballot is submitted by filling in the fields with required information on the vote page.

b. Invite another person to become a member of TorontoBarks.com. With each person invited that becomes a member to TorontoBarks.com during the contest period, two ballots will be earned. Invitations must be done through the TorontoBarks.com website in order to earn two ballots. Also, the invited person, upon joining, will earn one ballot.

Any person submitting false or inaccurate information on the TorontoBarks.com website may be disqualified by the Contest Organizer at the Contest Organizer’s discretion.

3. Eligibility:

The contest is open to all residents of Ontario who have reached the age of majority (18), or if under the age of majority and a minor, entry must be done with a parent or guardian, at the date of contest closing, excluding employees, contractors, representatives and agents of TorontoBarks.com (collectively “TorontoBarks.com Employees”), its advertisers and their respective affiliates, subsidiaries and agencies including, without limitation, their advertising and promotional agencies (collectively the "Contest Sponsors") as well as immediate family members of, or persons domiciled with TorontoBarks.com Employees and/or employees of the Contest Sponsors.

4. Contest Dates:

Contest begins 6am EDT May 1, 2008 through to 11:59 pm EDT July 31, 2008.

5. Selection of Winner(s):

A Winner will be selected from all eligible ballots in a random draw on August 15, 2007. The Winner will be contacted by telephone only. The Winner will be announced online on TorontoBarks.com.

Once the Winner has been selected the Winner will have to complete a skill testing question and provide adequate picture identification proving his/her identity. The Winner or Winners' parents or guardians, when the Winner is below the age of majority, must sign a waiver: 1) releasing the Organizer from all claims that may arise in connection with the contest or the prize(s); 2) agreeing to the use of the winner’s and the winner’s family’s name, address (city only) and photograph, without payment, in any subsequent publicity or advertising, for news or information purposes, carried out by the Organizers. Once the Winner has complied with these provisions, he/she will be instructed on how they can claim their prize.

If the Winner cannot be contacted by the Contest Organizer within ten (10) business days after the draw, is unable to complete the skill testing question, or if the Winner fails to abide by the terms of this contest, the Contest Organizer shall have the right to draw other eligible entrants as the prize winner as applicable and the Contest Organizer shall be released and discharged from any liability or responsibility in this regard. The Contest Organizer are not responsible for lost, destroyed or misdirected entries. The decision of the draw is final.

Contest Organizer’s rulings are final and without appeal in all matters related to the promotion and the awarding of prizes.

Prize(s) for the contest will be supplied by the Contest Organizer.

The Contest Organizer reserves the right to substitute prize(s) of equal or greater value, based upon availability of each item to contest Organizer. For greater clarity, the Organizer accept no liability if the prize(s) as described herein are not available and reserve the right to substitute prize(s) of equal or greater value. The prize(s) must be accepted as awarded, and may not be sold, traded or bartered, and are non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. Winner(s) are eligible to win only one (1) prize.

7. Entries:

All entries become property of the Contest Organizer who assume no responsibility for lost, stolen, delayed, damaged or misdirected entries or for failure of the website during the contest period, for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any email or traffic congestion on the internet or at any website, or any combination thereof including any injury or damage to an entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from plying or downloading any material in the promotion.

9. Chances of Winning:

The odds of winning a prize depend on the number of eligible entries received.

10. Winner’s List:

The Winner will be posted online on the TorontoBarks.com website.

11. Applicable Law:

This contest is subject to all federal, provincial and municipal laws.

12. Amendments:

This contest will be run in accordance with these rules, subject to amendment by the Contest Organizer. Entrants must comply with these rules, and will be deemed to have received and understood the rules if they participate in the contest.

The terms of this contest, as set out in these rules, are not subject to amendment or counteroffer, except as set out herein.

13. Headings:

Headings or descriptive words at the commencement of the various sections are inserted only for convenience and are in no way to be construed as a part of this agreement or as a limitation upon the scope of the particular section to which they refer.

14. Acceptance of the Contest Rules::

IN WITNESS WHEREOF you, by clicking on the I AGREE AND UNDERSTAND button below, acknowledge and warrant that you are the person you are identifying yourself to be in this registration process, you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound to the terms and conditions provided in these Contest Rules, and that you, by so signing this agreement have the capacity and authority to sign on behalf of the party for whom you are signing and to bind such party to this agreement, and this agreement shall enure to the benefit of and be binding upon the successors, legal representatives and permitted assigns of the respective parties, as of the date first mentioned above. You agree that the act of clicking the “I AGREE AND UNDERSTAND” button below will attribute your signature to these Contest Rules with the intent to create a binding agreement with the same legal effect, validity and enforceability of a handwritten signature and paper document.
