Apparently I had a rope wrapped around my left hind leg for some unknown period of time and my leg could not be saved. My previous owners continued to tie me up after I lost my leg. Days would go by before anyone would notice me and I would wait for someone, anyone to come feed me or to say hello. The good gals at New Hope came and saved me, they are taking splendid care of me. I have adapted to life on three legs. I do not want to be ignored ever again. .I need someone to give me leadership; there is nothing more I would like to do than to have a purpose in life! ...Valerie Mackett writes: We don't have a physical facility and rely on fosters. Kane is currently at a boarding facility. He is a special boy and I don't want to disappoint him. So I was wondering if he would be a dog that you would be interested in helping and re-homing. Or if you have any contacts wanting a special needs dog. He gets around fine with three legs. It is the back left leg that is missing. He is a sweet boy, just needing to be loved and to belong. Like they all do.
