Barking For A Home - October - Harley

Posted by TorontoBarks.com on October 5th 2011 Categorized under Barking For A Home

Our October Dog of the Month is Harley who currently resides at Toronto Animal Services North Region located at 1300 Sheppard Ave West, in Toronto.

Dear Harley came to the shelter as a ‘stray dog’ in early August and was never claimed by his original owner.  To add insult to injury he’s has been overlooked for adoption each day since.  Staff say he is just about the sweetest dog you will ever meet and at 10 years of age, he’s mellow, calm and completely housetrained, even at the shelter he waits for the staff or dog walkers to come and take him out.

“Harley loves to sit and snuggle, he’s a quiet unassuming dog with a gentle nature” says Kathy Quinn, shelter manager.

Harley gets along well with other calm dogs and in fact his best girl at the shelter was a large spayed female Doberman who was recently adopted, however Harley remains still looking for that special someone to come and apply to adopt him.

When the staff come to visit him or take him outside his whole face and eyes light up.
Will you be the light in his life?

Visit Harley at Toronto Animal Services North Shelter at 1300 Sheppard Ave West, call and ask about him at 416-338-8723 or see him on the website at www.toronto.ca/animalservices.  His ID number is A503992.  Harley is fully vetted, neutered and microchipped, and awaiting your arrival.
