The TorontoBarks web site was created to provide Toronto dog owners a better way to find local resources and information for their loyal pets. The main goal was to allow dog owners from Toronto and Southern Ontario to interact with local pet professionals and each other in a social networking type environment. 

Many pet related websites are simply online directory sites listing a selection of pet product and service providers. The TorontoBarks site goes a few steps further by providing articles, news and advice from some of the top experts in the pet industry. Site visitors can voice their opinion on various topics by posting comments in response to articles and blog posts via our message forum.

TorontoBarks is also the first area website to feature a monthly audio internet show - The Dogcast Podcast. This podcast features interviews with some of Toronto's top dog product and service providers and discussions on health, training and behavior issues.
